Asmaul Husna
Asmaul Husna does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any personal data. The app works fully offline and never connects to the internet.
About this policy
This policy explains how the Asmaul Husna app for Android and iOS ("the app") handles information. The app shows the 99 Names of Allah with their transliteration, English and Urdu meanings and short reflections.
Information we collect
None. The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information. There is no account and no sign-up.
Information stored on your device
To remember your choices, the app saves a few settings in your device's local app storage:
- The Names you mark as favourites, stored as their numbers (1 to 99)
- Your theme choice: System, Light or Dark
- Whether cards show transliteration, English meaning and Urdu meaning
- List or grid view, and your Arabic text size
This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in your device settings, deletes it permanently.
Internet, permissions and third parties
- No internet access. The app does not make network requests. All content and fonts are built into the app.
- No device permissions. The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or any other permission.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking. The app contains no analytics tools, advertising networks, crash reporters or third-party tracking software.
- No data sharing. Because no data is collected, none is shared with or sold to anyone.
Copying text
When you tap the copy button on a Name, its text is placed on your device's clipboard so you can paste it elsewhere. The app does not read your clipboard.
Children's privacy
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
